I am currently researching for my PhD in action selection mechanisms under my supervisors Dr Eleni Vasilaki and Prof Kevin Gurney , I am a member of the Intergrative Computational Neuroscience Group, looking at modeling the brain at multiple levels of description, with myself focusing on spiking neural networks.

Apart from my research interests in computational neuroscience, I am also a proponant of the Open Source movement, endevouring to use only open source software where possible. I am also interested in supporting Social Enterprise, and as a side project offer web design services to several charitable organisations such as the Formby University of the Third Age, using open source frameworks.
