Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council


Doncaster Council is a Metropolitan Borough of South Yorkshire in Yorkshire and the Humber Region of England. The Borough of Doncaster was created on 1 April 1974, under the Local Government Act 1972 and has 14,000 employees. Doncaster Council provides a wide range of services to over 300,000 residents including, education, housing, social care, financial benefits, waste and recycling, highways management, leisure and culture, environmental protection and emergency planning. Doncaster Council’s role in the project will be to support the research into the needs of end-users, such as citizens and emergency responding organisations. Doncaster Council will support the project to in providing feedback on practical outcomes of the project from citizens.
