About Me
I'm a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University Of Sheffield.
My research mostly revolves around reverse-engineered state machines destined for use as a comprehension aid. The principal research aim of my work is to reduce the complexity of these machines to make them more usable, since large flat state machines are often too complex.
Beyond academia my interests include pretty much anything to do with computers and the Internet, if it has an ALU (or you can put one in it), it's interesting. Most of my free time that isn't spent on reddit is spent on random projects; any relevant outcomes of those end up on my blog.
I can occasionally be found in any of the local climbing gyms. I also practice Thai Boxing at the Bodyflo gym.
I am supported by the EPSRC REGI grant (EP/F065825/1).
