Welcome
I am a PhD student at the Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience (University of Sheffield) and I work under the supervision of Prof. Neil Lawrence.
I am interested in the application of machine learning techniques to open problems in computational biology. In particular, my research is focused on the mathematical and statistical modelling of the hidden causes of complex diseases.
News:
- 01/2012 - Paper on modelling confouding factors accepted in PLoS Computational Biology
- 10/2011 - I'm currently visiting the institute for pure and applied mathematics (IPAM) at UCLA. I could be a bit slow in replying to emails.
