The practical class is an essential component of the course.
You must attempt the practical sheet each week because programming
is a practical subject and you can only learn how to do it by
regular practice. If you can manage to complete the
whole practical sheet each week by yourself it is not essential you
attend the practical class except in weeks where there is a MOLE
quiz. But if you are having any difficulty you should
definitely attend the practical class and get help from the
demonstrators.
