The course consists of
You cannot log in to the computers in the Edgar Allen computer room with your normal University username and password. 
It is important you find your account details before Monday 8th because there is only one computer you can access them from in the Edgar Allen room and there are 55 of you.

You will have some filestore associated with your account in the Edgar Allen computer room but if you want to look at or transfer old programs from your CiCS account to the Edgar Allen computer room follow these instructions:
The practical class is an essential component of the course.  You must attempt the practical sheet each week because programming is a practical subject and you can only learn how to do it by regular practice.   If you can manage to complete the whole practical sheet each week by yourself it is not essential you attend the practical class except in weeks where there is a MOLE quiz.  But if you are having any difficulty you should definitely attend the practical class and get help from the demonstrators.
