COM160 Computer Problem Solving and Object Oriented Design

This page, in partnership with the Blackboard page, will be definitive source of information for students doing the second semester of COM160. Blackboard will be used for assessment and for recorded lectures, the web pages for downloadable programs but most of the material is available from both sources.

Some of the material below is not publicly available. If you are using a University machine or are connected to the University's Wi-Fi you can just click on the links otherwise you will need to create a VPN connection.

  • Tuesday 5 - 5:50pm Q&A on the week's lectures and anything else you want to ask about in Diamond Lecture Theatre 2. These sessions should be captured by Encore and are available on Blackboard
    
  • Wednesday 11 - 12:40 Practical class in Diamond (Bring your own Device) CR 5
    
  • In addition there are various timetabled sessions for assessments - the below
  • This is a ten week course so my current plan is to treat weeks 11 and 12 as reading weeks when no new material is released and there are no teaching sessions but this plan could be disrupted by illness, massive snow storms, occupations of the Diamond or some other disaster.
